Program Manager Intern

You'll be part of a team that is responsible for defining and driving the features that make Expedia the industry leader that it is. Help define product strategy, define detailed functional requirements, work with developers and testers during implementation, get features released to live site on schedule, and help resolve problems on the live site. Requirements include project management skills, experience writing functional design specifications, experience coordinating with other teams, a strong customer focus, the ability to resolve operational issues and to drive the implementation and on-time delivery of features, and a passion for building and shipping great products. Knowledge of C/C++, ASP, HTML, DHTML, SQL, JavaScript, and browser technology desired.

Software Design Engineer – Test Intern

We've built a world-class architecture to power large volumes of users in a real-time 24x7 environment. We need you to build the testing tools and technologies to ensure the best experience for our customers. Software Development Engineers in Test are responsible for automation of tools and ensuring code quality by working closely with developers and software test engineers. You'll provide strong technical leadership as you make intelligent decisions around the research, creation, and implementation or leveraging of the tools, methodologies, and documentation needed to quickly and efficiently deliver our technologies.

Software Design Engineer Intern

The Expedia product development team is looking for talented software design engineers capable of designing and implementing server software that powers our award-winning family of interactive travel web products. This server architecture forms the backbone of our product in connection with customers and other central reservations systems around the world. Experience developing client/server applications in C++ on Windows NT Platform and with one of more of the following technologies: asynchronous I/O, multi-threaded architectures, sockets, TCP/IP, COM, HTML, DHTML, XML, ASP, JavaScript, Java and IIS is preferred.

Software Test Engineer Intern

At Expedia, our Software Testers ensure the quality and reliability of all Expedia products. Testers at Expedia are involved in specification reviews, test planning, test case development, executing the tests, reporting bugs, functional and regression testing, driving hotfixes to the live site, and more. The majority of our testing is web-based so we are looking for testing experience with front end, backend, and automation skills, as well as strong SQL ability, scripting (JavaScript and/or VBScript) and coding skills (C# or C++ and PERL). Candidates must have sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills.

NOTE: All technology interns must be pursuing a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
