The Inside Scoop

Ready to apply? A few words of wisdom from people who’ve been there.

Get Ready

  • Volunteer for nonprofits or clubs on campus to gain relevant experience and boost your resume.
  • Sure, it's fun here, but our programs are rigorous so be sure to take the right courses to be prepared.
  • Have something going on besides school. We look for well-rounded people with outside interests.
  •  Work your connections. Visit our team at one of our events to learn more about our business.

Get Set

  • Practice interviewing—your roommate, your dog, your mom—anyone will do.
  •  Show your interest. Prepare different questions for each interviewer.
  • Bring something to the table. Consider our business and tell us your ideas about how to make it better.
  • Play around on our site and think about how you could make our sites, marketing, or strategy better.
  • Know your stuff, and ensure you understand the position you are interviewing for. Be prepared to describe how you fit in this role.
  • Be able to back yourself up. Prepare to draw on your own work experiences to support your assertions.

Go

  • Ask lots of questions. We both want to be sure we're a good match.
  • Tech candidates, listen up. Be comfortable on the white board and show your work.
  • Don't be too rehearsed. Listen carefully and respond in the moment.
  • If you're not asked to join us right away, strengthen your real-world experience and give us another shot next year.
  • Be honest about yourself, your experience, and your needs.
